epoole8888@yahoo.com BioCarbon dating places the relative age of Eric Poole as starting some time during the Mesozoic Era. When not totally kicking the asses of sabertooth tigers, Poole was honing his drawing abilities on the caves of what is now the south of France. Accidentally frozen for eons, Eric was rediscovered in Ligonier, PA, and then the University of Pittsburgh, where his comic "DarkSidebluezz" ran for a year and a half in the daily Pitt News, chronicling the triumphs and tribulations of living in an apartment. While garnering the respect and admiration of both male and female comics groupies alike, the comic was honored in 2004 with Honorable Mention in the prestigious Golden Circle Awards. Due to overwhelming awesomeness, Eric drew a second comic at the same time his final semester at Pitt, "Mr. Tinkles, Hound Extrordinaire", and in a bold move, the two crossed over in the final comic. In his own glorious words, Eric says, "I thought it would be cool to start another comic. It's been awhile since the Pitt News comics and I was getting the urge to draw another again. The new comic is nothing like my old one I am now using the computer to guide me. Now, I was a huge 'non-computer for comics' advocate, but I just can't help it. I still all the drawings so it isnt like I draw the stuff on computer. Anywho, enjoy the comic, and it should be updated everyday. If it isn't, I'll just put in a drawing or something. YEP!"
Since writing this, Eric has began a sequel comic strip to his original DarksideBluezz, and entered the Daily Grind Iron Man Challenege, requiring him to draw a strp every Monday through Friday, so check back early and often.
In addition to drawing comics, Eric enjoys long walks on the beach, gambling, and a good cry. He is also available for parties.
